About Lexington Virginia

The city of Lexington and Rockbridge County offer many attractions for people of all ages to enjoy during a Virginia vacation.  In addition to the cultural, athletic, and other activities offered by the two colleges (Virginia Military Institute and Washington & Lee University), attractions include the Virginia Horse Center, trails and vistas along mountain streams and the spectacular Blue Ridge Parkway, Vista Links golf course, antique shopping, and visits to the area’s numerous historic sites.  Interstate Highway 64 and 81 as well as U.S. Routes 60 and 11 easily reach our bed and breakfast’s location in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley.

Considered the Southern Gateway of the Shenandoah Valley, Lexington is central to a region that is spectacularly picturesque and rich in history, with abundant attractions and events all year long.  Check out the artwork being produced in our area which continues to put Lexington and the Shenandoah Valley on the art lover’s map. Don’t miss the extraordinary Lime Kiln Theater for plays and concerts, outdoor in the summer, indoor in winter within the historic Troubadour on Main Street.
