ELEGANT. FUN. ARTISTIC. LIKE SLEEPING IN A GALLERY.
When you choose the Shenandoah Manor for your Lexington, VA lodging, you will experience something truly unique. We have two art studios in the Manor House. If you feel like it, try your hand at painting; sit behind an easel in the yard and pretend you are Vincent van Gogh. You might be joined by the “art guests” if your stay coincides with a planned art course. Feel free to engage them in conversation and have them show you their latest work.
In addition to our beautiful guest rooms, there are a variety of places both inside and outside to relax and enjoy your rustic surroundings. Inside the Manor house you can enjoy the sitting room, the library and music room. In the Guest House is the common room. Outside spaces are the private balconies of the Manor; the large veranda-like porch of the Guesthouse, the courtyard, the bench by the pond/gazebo, etc. For a wonderful evening you may enjoy roasting marshmallows around the fire pit in the courtyard. And, of course, each morning will start with a delicious meal served in the Dining Room.
